Astăzi au fost anunțați nominalizații la câștigarea celor mai importante premii din cinematografia americană.
Cele mai multe nominalizări la Oscarurile din acest an le-a primit filmul ”The Revenant”, de regizorul mexican Alejandro G. Iñárritu și cu Leonardo DiCaprio în rolul principal. La 12 categorii a fost nominalizat ”The Revenant”, fiind în cursă atât pentru cele dedicate celui mai bun film, regizor sau actor în rol principal.
De asemenea, Tom Hardy a prins și el o nominalizare pentru rolul din The Revenant, film care n-a rupt gura târgului în box-office, strângând, în trei săptămâni de la lansare, doar puțin peste jumătate din costurile de producție.
Alte filme nominalizate la Premiile Oscar sunt ”The Big Short”, un altfel de film despre criza financiară din 2008, patrioticul ”Bridge of Spies”
al lui Steven Spielberg, istoricul ”Brooklyn”, chiar și explozivul ”Mad Max: Fury Road”, dar și ”The Martian” cu Matt Damon.
”Room” și ”Spotlight” sunt celelalte două filme care se bat pentru titlul de cel mai bun film al anului la cea de-a 88-a ediție a Premiilor Oscar.
